Precision Service Tune-Up Checklist
Each Precision Service Tune-Up visit will include:
PRE-SUMMER TUNE-UP
• Check operation and calibration of thermostat
• Replace / clean air filter
• Clear out drain lines
• Inspect electrical wiring and connections to ensure clean and tight connections
• Blower Motor operations - check for proper amperage and voltage
• Check for appropriate refrigerant levels in system
• Verify that contactors are clean and no signs of burning of pitting
• Inspect and test for healthy capacitor readings
• Verify proper insulation on refrigerant line sets
• Inspect the condition of outside condenser coil and indoor evaporator coil (if easily accessible)
• Condenser coil washing in spring time
• Inspect duct work for proper airflow (no runs are crushed, no rips, tears or disconnects)
• Measure supply/return temperature differential for correct temperature split
PRE-WINTER TUNE-UP
• Check operation and calibration of thermostat
• Replace / clean air filter
• Clear out drain lines
• Inspect electrical wiring and connections to ensure clean and tight connections
• Blower Motor operations – check for proper amperage and voltage
• Clean blower motor of dust
• Check for appropriate refrigerant levels in system (heat pump)
• Inspect duct work for proper airflow (no runs are crushed, no rips, tears or disconnects)
• Measure supply/return temperature differential for correct temperature split
• Visual inspection of heat exchanger
• Check for irregular or uneven flames for signs of dirty burners or adjustments
